November, December

November Sofia moved to another riding club that she liked a lot. She also continued with her new hobby of this autumn - artistic gymnastics. The whole family made a day trip to Ovindoli in the mountains.

December We made a day trip to the lake of Trevignano. Sofia had her first little club competition at the new riding club. We stayed in Rome over the Christmas holidays. Christmas went Ok, although my husband had a sore foot and Sofia had a fever. We celebrated new year's eve at the restaurant at the riding club together with our friends.

September, October

September Daniele had football finals in Bellaria near Rimini and the whole family spent one night there. Before the schools started we went on holiday to Stintino in Sardinia.

October We celebrated Sofias 9th birthday with a party at home. Went with the children on a day trip to Venice to meet my parents and in the end of October on a two day's trip to Ibiza with my friend Marzia and her children. Halloween party at the horse stable. Sofia caught the flu.

July, August

Finland. We met friends and family and did lots and lots of nice things. We celebrated Carlottas 4th birthday in Finland.

May and June

May We had a barbeque party in our garden on the 1.st of May. The last week-end in May we went to Sabaudia again with Elisabeth, but this time also our husbands joined us. The beach season started.

June Daniele went on a sailing course in Ostia and on a football camp in Norma, about 100 km from Rome. We stayed there in the same hotel and had a little holiday with the rest of the family. My husband watching the football training and me and Sofia going to the horse stable.

March and April

March

Skiing holidays in Pinzolo. When we returned to Rome, there was already spring in the air. The children sometimes did their home work out in the garden.


April

A week-end in Sabaudia with my friend Elizabeth and all our children. We even managed to go on a riding tour on the beach. Lovely! Daniele´s 11th birthday and his confirmation. My parents came to Rome.

February

February
The children's hobbies continued. Daniele played football in the football team of the church. Sofia started horse riding at a new stable and I started too after a long break. We had a very good riding instructor and it felt so good to do something that I have always loved to do, although I have had long breaks when the children were born and other things have taken up all of my time.

2009 in review

As I didn't have enough time and concentration to start blogging last year, I'll start with a small review with photos of the past year.































January
Me and the children started the new year in Finland at our dear friend Alexandra's house and we had a good time, as always. On new year's day we headed off to my brother's house and participated in dismantling and eating their lovely ginger bread castle. Back to Italy when the schools started again after the Christmas break. Soon after Christmas the carnival celebrations started in Italy and Carlotta and Sofia dressed as princesses. I got a new used camera, a Nikon D80.

A new year, new energy

A year has gone by and I didn't continue with my blog. Now a new year has begun and I will try again! I found a very useful site, shabbyblogs.com that I have used for my header and where I got lots of useful information, so slowly I'm learning more.

Nu har det nya året börjat. Jag har lite dåligt med jobb just nu och då är det väl rätt tillfälle att lära sig nya saker såsom att blogga, behandla bilder och ta bättre foton.
