Carlotta wants to be an ice cream seller or a princess or both when she grows up.

Pick-nick

First pick nick together with friends this spring. We met in a popular pick-nick area, at the sanctuary of Divino Amore where lots of Romans go pick-nicking. The weather was beautiful and I regretted having put my jeans on, because it got really warm in the sun! It had been raining for the last two days, but now that the sun was shining, the grass was dry again. First in the morning me and Sofia went on our riding lesson, came home to have a shower, packed the last things and then the whole family went off to meet our friends at the pick-nick area. So nice to have a glass of wine, sun and good company after the sweaty riding lesson!
We all enjoyed it. We all are Swedish-Italian and Finnish-Italian families and the children have known each other since they were born, so it's really nice to get together once in a while!

Scrapbooking course 18.4.2010

On Sunday I went on a scrapbooking course organized by Timbri Tinti. I made this cute lay-out. Actually I had signed up for a mini album course, but there were some problems with the kits, so they organized this course instead. It was fun and relaxing! In the afternoon I took Carlotta to a birthday party. There were three of them this week-end, one for each of the children.

New hair cut

Me, Daniele and Sofia got a new hair cut. Mine is not so different from what it was before, but Daniele and Sofia changed quite a lot and both looked really good!

The last Sunday of March we went on a guided tour to a natural park in Rome that's called Parco dell'Insugherata. It's a huge green area quite near the town. It's on the other side of Rome than where we live and I had never been or even heard of this park before. Roma Natura organizes these guided tours free of charge and there are really many interesting tours that you can do with the hole family. Carlotta wasn't the smallest one, there were some really small children with us and they all made it quite well. The theme was insects, so we walked a little and then we stopped when we noticed some interesting insect and we got to know their names and lots of curios things about them. We also go to watch them with a microscope. It was a warm and nice spring day and we had put on far too much clothes, because the day before had been windy and chilly.

A morning at the stable

I go horse riding twice a week now and it has become a very important hobby for me again, a moment for myself where I can learn new things and just concentrate on myself and the horse and it's just wonderful to be able to do that! I have hundreds of photos of Sofia and her friends horse riding but very few photos of myself. But yesterday Sofia came with me to the stable and took some photos. Carlotta goes to a private school, so her Easter holiday hadn´t begun yet. It was a lovely morning for me and Sofia at the stable with nice weather and a good riding lesson.
